In 1991 a small enterprise started concentrating on Alarm installations, over time the business grew into a well-respected company renowned for high levels of expertise, good services and friendly staff.
In 1997 ADT became part of the Tyco International Group of companies to complement the existing Tyco Fire and security service operations and infrastructure around the world. In March 2001 ADT launched its Authorized Dealer Program in Cape Town .
Shortly afterwards ADT acquired Sentry Security giving ADT a national armed response footprint. We have now been awarded this dealership, focusing on giving you, the customer, an alarm that will never be ignored.
As the business grew, goals were shifted into providing a whole solution – gate automation, garage automation, electric fencing, closed circuit TV and alarm installation.
It is Taipan’s goal to offer a complete solution, “a one stop shop” to any client regarding their security requirements.
This goal is reflected in the scope of services Taipan Security has to offer. Designing and manufacturing of galvanized gates. Installation, commissioning of automated gates, electric fence and CCTV systems right up to the hand over of the alarm system, with full back up support.
Taipan Security also offers full maintenance agreements to provide optimum blend of hardware specially tailored to meet the client’s needs.
